Physical and Chemical Properties:
Appearance is a white or light yellow powder. Melting point is between 335-342°C. Slightly soluble in alcohols and ethers, almost insoluble in water.
Applications:
Primarily used as a replacement for decabromodiphenyl ether flame retardants. It can be applied in High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS), Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene (ABS) resins, as well as PVC, PP, and other plastics, serving as a new environmentally friendly flame retardant.
This product is a novel, broad-spectrum, efficient, and environmentally friendly flame retardant, boasting excellent thermal stability and a high bromine content. It also possesses strong UV resistance and low toxicity.
Widely utilized in styrene-based polymers, engineering thermoplastics, wire and cable coatings, insulators, elastomers, and thermosetting plastics, among other areas.
