Product Details

Application: safety glass, used in windshields of cars, ships and window glass of high-rise buildings, used as adhesives and coatings, colorless transparent films, fabric coatings, protective coatings, etc.

PVB is an important polymer material widely used in coatings, glues, plastic coatings, fibers, plastics and other fields. One of its main uses is as a binder for laminated glass, which can improve the impact resistance and safety of the glass. PVB can also be used to prepare optical films, anti-UV coatings, waterproof coatings, etc.

Add A-stage phenolic resin to the ethanol solution of PVB to make an adhesive that can bond metal, wood, leather, glass, fiber, and ceramics. It can also make fiberglass to replace steel, aluminum, copper and other non-ferrous metals. Varnishes and enamels formulated with PVB, phenolic resin and fillers are used as metal anti-corrosion primers in the automotive industry. PVB is formulated into a coating liquid in a mixed solvent of alcohol and ethyl acetate. It can be used as an anti-scorch coating for casting models, as well as coatings for marine ships, submarine hulls, seaplane buoys, and drilling rig derricks immersed in water.
